It has been months since I have had a chance to actually have time to make a card for a challenge. I love challenges but between school, my business and lots of travel I just haven't been able to play. But tonight I had a little time, so decided to make a card using the mojo monday sketch challenge 161 and supplies from an online swap that sends me supplies to design a card every month. This is different than I typically would do, but I like it.
Been very busy lately and time to make cards, etc. has been very limited. But I did make a card using my July supplies from my monthly card supplies challenge. I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers - Sketch #111.
It has been awhile since I posted something on my blog. I had the supplies for my online challenge club and I needed to make a card for my SS. Plus I really liked this week's sketch on The Sweet Stop, so I used that sketch.
This weekend I am doing a demo for my local stamp club and they wanted to know about digi images, so what better way than to use my DD's digi images from Frenzified. So I needed a project, so I decided on this water bottle cover, thought it would make a nice summer gift.
For the month of June for a card swap group I am in I have to create an all white card, the image could have a little color. This was challenging for me. I will be using this for an upcoming wedding card. I used white embossing and SU's water color crayons with a blender pen. This is also for One Stop Craft Challenge #79 - wedding cards and Charisma Cards - challenge week #20 - wedding card
For a the month of May I got a large envelope of goodies to make cards for and in that bundle was this cute tractor image. I used the sketch from Papertake this week, which worked well with this image and it is also for Challenge #111 from Cute Card Thursday - Boyz to Men.
Each month I receive an envelope full of fun goodies to make a card and once a year I get to send out my goodies. They tend to pile up in my "to do" drawer, so tonight I dug one out and decided to use the Sketch Girl sketch for this week. Also, for the ABC challenge "T" is for Thank You challenge.
My MIL is 88 years old and thinking of something she might enjoy for Mother's Day is tough. But she loves movies and has no dietary restrictions, so I decided to make her a movie basket. When I went to Blockbusters to buy movies they had these Coke carrier type things available. One side has a place for two beverages or a beverage and some candy or popcorn. The other side is for three or four movies. I had bought this digital image about a month back and used it for an easel card and now I got to use it again. It is fun to color and fits perfect with the movie theme. I was looking for a sketch and liked the one shown on Cute Card Thursday, so used it for the card. Also, item is for A Spoonful of Sugar challenge for the week. And Digital Tuesday's challenge is Anything But a Card, so here is my popcorn container. This is the first time I have tried altering a popcorn container, so this is also for the Papertake Weekly Challenge - Do Something Different.
I made this card for A Spoonful of Sugar challenge #100 - Happy Birthday and for the ABC Challenge - S is for Sparkle. I love this digi image of three owls on a unicycle - I think it is the cutest Birthday image!
Made this card for Karens Doodle Challenge #5 - "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue" I used one of my oldest embossing folders on this card (had to dust off the big shot, haven't used it in awhile!), something new - a new image I just bought from Karens Doodle, something borrowed is the easel card design (am loving that fold!) and something blue - well there is a lot of blue on this card!
Some of you have been asking me to post some of the items I sew for the 18 inch dolls that are out there (American Girl dolls, etc). So I just got a new doll from AG and she is the doll of the year and her name is Lani. I had to dress her up for spring - so here she is so pretty in pink!
If you just happened to have started with me for Project Rockstar Blog Hop, you might want ot go back to the beginning with Joni. For my blog hop black and white card (and a little gray - a shade of black!) I used the digi images designed for Gabby by Paper Makeup Stamps. Paper was by Papermania, pearls by Kaiser scrapbook and ribbon by American Crafts. I also used sketch #126 on MojoMonday for the card.
I am offering some blog candy in honor of Gabby (see picture below), includes: Martha Stewart heart edge punch, butterfly ribbon by Sugar n' Spice, Tim Holtz Metalz mini platez by junkitz, button adornments by My Favorite Things and 3 unmounted stamps (surprise on what they are - lol!) To win the blog candy please leave a comment and become a follower of my blog. Winner will by randomly chosen on Wednesday (2/24).
Now on to the next person on the Project Rockstar Blog Hop and that would be the very talented Yvonne aka Scrappy.
I am in a swap on SCS for Easter Baskets. I was having difficulty coming up with a paper basket, so I decided to do some terra cotta clay baskets. I "impressed" one of the $ stamps that you can get at JoAnn's and Mikes. I glazed the inside of the baskets and added a little ribbon. I enjoyed painting the little flowers on them. A little twist on rubber stamping.
